The Toolbar
Now take a look at the toolbar along the left side of the screen. From top to bottom the tools are:
My Broadcast
This tool lets you personalize your page. You can change your avatar from the default, give yourself a byline, edit the description and search tags of your broadcast, set your privacy level and manage your subscriptions. A couple of new features are groups and a printable press pass.
Page Design
Create the overall look of your broadcast by choosing one of the available themes. You can also edit your broadcast's title and choose a different column layout and add new sections.
Multimedia
Upload your photos, our clipart or audio files. Choose from among our collection of graphics or upload your own, and if you have MP3 audio files you can place them on the page.
Add Text
Use this tool to add articles to your broadcast, format them, and edit the articles you've already placed.
Mobile
Travel the world as a photojournalist! The Mobile tool lets you send in photos from your cell phone or PDA.
Live! News
Add live news feeds from around the Web. You can choose from among our list of hundreds or add any others that you know about.
Widgets
Widgets are cool extra features-things like weather forecasts, stock quotes, and search boxes that add fun and functionality to your site.
The Close Tools button
The close button at the bottom of your toolbar is a great way to preview your broadcast. When you close or put away the toolbar you'll see how your page looks to everyone else.
